“the Point,” critter crossings of mischievous raccoons, the elusive fox, or
a grazing deer are almost a daily occurrence. Golden eagles, peregrine
falcons, and red-tail hawks soar overhead or perch like sentinels on the
towering cypress. California Grey Whales migrate just offshore from
Thanksgiving through Easter.
